Life Lately | Mid-July

It has been almost two weeks since I last updated this blog and I am very much missing it. I have been out and about lately and if you have been following me on Twitter and/or Instagram, you'd know why. I have new things in store to share with you guys and I am so excited to tell you all about it! For the past ten days, I've been to ten different places. It was a tiring journey but a very enjoyable one, nonetheless. But before I am going to post my new adventures, I would like to update this blog first because I'm still stuck on editing the photos and composing their contents.

I went out of scope last week. I had my 10-day vacation and it was the funnest, most exciting vacay I have ever had yet! After three long years, my best friends and I finally got together again!

I met these girls when I was still in uni (that was about 5 to 6 years ago). We have different courses and do not take the same classes but we were fated to meet and then we just clicked. These girls have been my best friends ever since and even though we do not hang out like we used to, we still get in touch once in a while. Today, we live in different locations, and due to our different working schedules and environment, we rarely have time to be with each other.

Last year, after my licensure exam, we made plans to travel together and pursue it no matter what. Earlier this year, we saw Cebu Pac's airfare promo, took the chance and booked our tickets. Come July and we were on our way to our first out-of-town adventure together! I cannot put to words how excited I was when I made preparations before meeting them, how joyful I was to be with these girls again, and how happy this trip made me. It was an absolute bliss!

After the 5-day trip with the girls, we separated ways again, huhu. They all went back to their jobs and I went home. I spent the next four days with my family and I loved every bit of it. I went out when I felt like it but majority of the time, I chose to stay home to just relax and read a book. I finished Gossip Girl last Tuesday and I am now reading A Court of Thorns and Roses. I have high expectations for this book because I've read so many good reviews about it.

I just got back to work yesterday and hurrah, I have the internet at last! It is then time to work my ass up for upcoming blog posts and also, start counting down till my next base-off. I can't wait what's in store for me next. :D

  2. Looks like a really good vacation you had there! Made me miss my friends. It's so hard to plan a trip when everyone is on a different schedule.

    1. It was so great! The struggles right?! We all went out of our ways to really get together. Some of them had to pretend to be not feeling well to avail their SL's haha!
