Ahhh, books. What would I be like without them? Since I've learned how to read, I have loved books containing wonderful stories in them. In all my life, if there is one thing constant, it's books. One of my dreams in life is to build a library of my own filled with all the books I love. Someday, I hope. 😊

Did you know that I have a bookstagram? It's @therandombibliophile and basically, what I post there are photos of my books, pages of my bullet journal, and some Asian drama I'm obsessed with. So over the course of its existence, I've been tagged by a fellow bookworm who I know in real life to answer some book related questions. And so I thought I'd just take them all and make them into a whole blog post. There are 3 sets of questions. Let's start with the first one called #mylifeinbooks.

#mylifeinbooks
  • 💖A book to each of my initials: My full name is Renee Alexis Taladua so my initials are RAT. R - Renegades by Marissa Meyer (I still have to read this one soon); A - A Court of Mist and Fury by Saras J. Maas (this is my favorite book in the ACOTAR series); T - Throne of Glass by Saras J. Maas (yep, I'm a Maas Trash and proud of it!)
  • 💖Count your age along your bookshelf: Okay, so I don't have a formal bookshelf here in my room, so what I did is just count through the books I have here and I ended up counting my age with Game of Thrones 💪
  • 💖A book that represents a destination you want to travel: If we're talking about a destination that has no limits to the imagination, I'd say Harry Potter. Who wouldn't want to go to Hogwarts??? But if this must be a real place, I would say Anna and the French Kiss because I would love to explore Paris some day.
  • 💖A book that is your fave color: Grammar Sucks and Carry On (They're purple and yellow, respectively) 💜💛
  • 💖A book that you have the fondest memory of: The Hunger Games - this is the first book I read on my first kindle and this book started my obsession with the Dystopian genre.
  • 💖A book that you have a difficulty finishing: The Game of Thrones books. I just only finished book one and when I started book two, I just couldn't really get through with it as I prefer to watch the tv series more. Maybe one day...
  • 💖Which book in your TBR will give you a sense of accomplishment when you finish it: Harry Potter books -I just read the first book and stopped reading the second one because I wanted to buy the physical books first. I don't think it's okay to just read about the magical adventures of Harry Potter & co. in just the ebooks so I'm holding it off. Hopefully, I'll be able to save and afford the complete series in hardbound soon, fingers crossed.

  • 🍦Mint (fave book series of all time): Ohmygosh this is hard. Uhm, ACOTAR, TLC, THG
  • 🍦Lemon (a stodgy book/book series): Game of Thrones 😅 just because I'm having a hard time finishing it, haha.
  • 🍦Tiramisu (a book that cheers you up): Ready Player One - just finished it yesterday and I loved every page of it!
  • 🍦Strawberry (a sweet love story): Anna and the French Kiss 💗
  • 🍦Chocolate (a sequel you're waiting for): War Storm (Red Queen #4) - coming out this May 15th!!!
  • 🍦Coffee (a book that kept you up all night): The Fault in Our Stars
  • 💥Ebooks/Physical: A bit of both, actually. While I really love to collect physical books, sometimes, it's more convenient to read ebooks especially when you're traveling.
  • 💥Heroes/Villains: Heroes 💗 But there are some villains that turn out to be really great that there are times that I would root for them because I hate the main character 😅
  • 💥Trilogies/Series: I love trilogies, though series are also fun, too. Just as long as the story is there and are ended well without any loopholes and that the books aren't dragging, then I'm good to go.
  • 💥Last book read: Ready Player One - this is such a great book!
  • 💥Last book bought: The ACOTAR series in hardbound, Empire of Storms in hardbound and a softbound of The Shadow Queen
  • 💥Secondhand books: I love books no matter if they are brand new or secondhand, just as long as they are in great condition. 😊

And that ends it! I have just discovered the Scribd App and downloaded it to my phone the other day. I subscribed to its 30-days free trial and I am sooooooo overwhelmed with the number of great book titles they have there. I have downloaded a bunch of ebooks and audiobooks already and I think I will be reading The Goose Girl next!

Do you like books? Or did this post bore you to death? I hope it didn't 😅 How are you, guys? It's been so long since I've talked to you. I hope you enjoyed this one even if it's just a short post. I'll be back for more book talk soon.
