Six things I'm looking forward to this September

Now, there are those who posts about their goals for the month, about their list of happy things, about why they love September (because start of fall and all and I wish I could experience that but there are only 2 seasons in the PH so...), and here I am thinking of a blog post good enough to start the month. I've been clicking through all the posts in my drafts and I just couldn't find the "perfect" blog post to start off this month! I was already viewing my stock photos and I've been to Canva, Twitter and Bloglovin' for inspiration but I still got nothing. Maybe I am a sheep because I am now conforming to other blogger's go-to first blog posts for starting the month (not that there's anything wrong with that). So okay, let me start this over again.

Hello, September! The Ber Months had finally arrived and wow, it's the ninth month already! Wow, okay, I should stop being so overwhelmed now. I did a list, a while ago, of the things I'm looking forward to this month. I thought they'd just be a short one but I ended up having 6 things! Let's start...

Here are the list of things that Renee looks forward to for the month of September

1. Birthdays of my beloved boys
First off, don't judge me by saying boys. Haha! They are actually my dad and my boyfriend! Papa is turning 58 in the next few weeks and Jethro will be 24 on the 14th. I may not be with them physically to celebrate their birthdays (due to work), but I will be just as happy for them on their day. I always thank the Lord for giving my loved ones another year of fruitfulness. I hope they will have more years to come and I hope that we will have more happy memories together! Ugh, writing this one makes me miss my dad more. Love you Pa, I hope you know that! :D

2. Finish watching Doctors and start W - Two Worlds
I've been a fan of KDramas ever since I've watched Princess Hours. I've stopped watching these series for a while now (not because I don't like them anymore because I LOVE THEM) but when I heard about Descendants of the Sun and watched it, I've been becoming somewhat of a Korean Drama Fanatic again. I am watching Doctors (but currently on hold) and I am planning to watch W soon. The KDramas this year has really upped their game! Their plots and characters are becoming more lovable and in-depth. I am hoping I could finish Doctors soon because I don't want to be overlapping two Korean Dramas at once. This is hoping I will have more time to watch them and finish them all soon!

Since I have finished reading the Queen of Shadows, which is the book 4 of the Throne of Glass series, last June, I have been patiently waiting for book 5 to come out. Finally, it will be out on the 6th. A few more days now, self, and you'll get to read what happened next on Aelin Galathynius's life! I cannot contain the thrill, I haven't been this excited about a book release since Kiera Cass's The One!!!

The Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children Book Series have been my obsession five months ago. When I read the last installment, I was saddened because, like all good things, it has come to an end. Good thing, Ransom Riggs has decided to gift us with another book. If you have read the Peculiars books, you'd know that this Tales of the Peculiar is a book within the story. For the peculiar children, it was their book of fairytales. I cannot wait to get my hands on them. I want to know more about this Peculiar world Riggs has thought off for us!

And then there's the movie adaptation. Of course, I've watched the trailer many times already and even though there are A LOT of changes, I am still excited for it! I am a huge fan of the books (as I have mentioned), so the first time I saw the trailer, I was disappointed. There were some really major alterations and I just can't understand why they have to switch Emma's and Olive's peculiarity. Well, I'll just have to wait to see the movie before I'll give my judgment now, shouldn't I? *sigh*

6. Winter Christmas is coming!
I love Christmas! *sings: It's the most beautiful time of the year...* Need I say more? :D

So these are the things I'm most excited about. I look forward to having another great month and I hope September won't fail me. As for my goals this month, I need to organize my priorities more so that I can achieve them. So help me God.

So, what are you guys excited about this month? Are there things you are looking forward to happen that you would like to share? Let's interact on the comments section below!
