The Happy List: November Edition ❤

My old happy, carefree self is slowly coming back and I have God and some people to thank for this change in mood and perspective! The start of December was so good, I've had a true smile plastered on my face since the first. I hope these good vibes won't wear off until the end. Christmas is in 19 days and my birthday's in 25 (do the math, haha), so there are really a lot of things I'm looking forward to happen this month. Please don't fail me, haha!

happy list for november

In the past month, I've been listing down things that I'm thankful for every week in my bullet journal. I wanted to count the blessings I've been receiving rather than acknowledging the bad things happening to me. It's my way of getting back to that positive living I've been mastering for so long. So without further ado, here are the things that have made me smile last month. 😊

The Food Section 😁

  • Nutella and Whole Wheat Bread
  • Fresh Fruits! (apples, oranges, grapes, bananas, kiwis ... ahh!)
  • Ube Jam from Baguio
  • Cheat days with Lechon for lunch!
  • Four Seasons and Lemon & Ginger Twinings Tea
  • Lettuce Salad (with lots of nuts and dried mangoes!)

The Small Things 😊

  • My old laptop still doing its job perfectly despite the glitches once in a while
  • This Victoire Template I'm using now from Fearne
  • Making playlists on Spotify
  • Watching mushy movies at night that makes you cry and laugh at the same time

These Awesome People ❤

  • That one friend you've been praying for to be okay
  • The ever supportive boyfriend
  • The BFF who was there all along
  • The funny, wonderful workmates who makes your work life less dull

And then this 🙏

  • Finally a sense of direction after feeling so lost for months 💜

I know most of the items I listed are food, and that's just normal because I love food, haha! These things may be overlooked by some people, but I've realized that it's really the little things that counts. Simple things are enough to make me happy, it's really the way these things mean that makes them worth sharing.

Now, looking at all these, I cannot imagine why I felt last month was bad. Maybe it was bad and maybe jotting down things to be grateful for in my bullet journal was the thing I needed to do to realize that it really wasn't that bad. Confusing, huh? So anyways, this is all for now. I am hoping and praying I will have a better and happier month this time (and it's has started to happen!, no bad vibes please).

How about you? What things are you thankful for that has happened to you last month? I hope you will always choose to see the bright side of the world. Live, laugh, love!
