How To Really Know Someone | 02

Happy Hump Day! I'm back again with more questions and answers today. I'd probably be posting this question tag on Wednesdays, for no particular reason. 😃

6. Should parents be their child’s friends?
Yes. It's important to discipline your children well but it's also important to make them feel that you are their friend. Kids need to feel that they can talk to their parents anytime about anything. I didn't grow this close to my mom and dad when I was a kid but when I grew up and went to college, the bond that I used to wish we have, came gradually. Today, I tell my mom almost everything and it's the best feeling in the world!

7. What do you think of doctor-assisted suicide?
I am still undecided about it. Months ago, I finished reading Me Before You. It is a story about a quadriplegic who wanted euthanasia and in the end got what he wanted (oops, spoiler alert). It was heartbreaking and I did have second thoughts when I contemplated about his decision. I've been raised as a Christian, a Roman Catholic to be exact, and I strongly believe that only God can be the judge to our life. He is the only one who can decide if we live or die.

8. Have you ever blown your top (lose temper)? Why?
A big YES to this question because I am impatient! But I'm working on it, though, day by day. The last time I lost my temper was when I was pissed off at someone who just constantly did the thing I asked her not to. I held in when I can but that was just the last straw. Sometimes, you need to just tell someone a piece of your mind so that they will not abuse your kindness. It was rough but I can't keep still anymore, I held out my patience as long as I could but it snapped. So...

9. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I'd probably be 24. I'm still 22 but I have a big physique and sometimes people see me as someone older than my original age. It has its pros and cons, really.

10. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
I'll tell them to their faces that they are rude and judgemental. Even though they're people I respect and admire, I'll be quickly turned off if they start gossiping about someone and criticizing anyone without proof. It wouldn't be nice if someone says nasty things about them now, would it? Respect begets respect.

This tag is originally from Corinth and if you want to join along, you can find the rest of the questions here. What's your take on these questions? If you're asked these questions, what would your replies be? Comment below so I can read your answers. 😊 xx

    1. I've read your version! And yes, I agree with you on the fan thingy, where you don't have to know everything about him/her/them to be a fan. Thanks for dropping by, Da! Looking forward for your next set of Q & A. :D
