The Happy List Vol. 04

The Happy List Vol. 03
It's always nice to sit down at the end of the day and just recollect on all the things that you've been given and are grateful for. I always thank the Lord for all His blessings for me, I couldn't let a day pass by without doing so. Whenever I need something, I ask it from Him. So whenever He answers back, I never fail to give thanks and praise. This has become a habit of mine and I feel that it has strengthened my bond with him.

July has been good to me. Even though I had some struggles with my online work and was sick for a week, God truly won't leave you and He will always provide. I have received so many blessings this month that I just had to put them all in one post. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for always being there.

Being a part of the Althea Birthday Squad

Late last month, I was contacted again by a representative of Althea for a chance to be a part of their Birthday Squad. Being a loyal follower and lover of this beauty site, I excitedly obliged. I even made a video about it! Read more about this exciting collaboration in this post. 😊

Having to collaborate with BeautyMNL

Another collab happened this month and it was with this local beauty site who handpicked me to give their site a test run. It was my first time shopping with them and I must say, it was a pleasant experience. Read all about it here: My First BeautyMNL Shopping Experience.

Freelance writing job opportunities because of this blog

I've received some writing job proposals this month because clients have liked my writing style in this blog. And I am ever so grateful for this to happen. I have always wanted to monetize and earn from this blog, I never thought it could be a bridge to get me some writing gigs to earn from. 😊

People appreciating my blog

Of course, I will never tire to thank people who appreciate what I'm doing here. Hearing about how they love/like my blog from strangers makes me feel that what I'm doing is really worth it. Hard work does pay off, you just have to persevere and strive to make yourself better and better. Thank you, guys! I'm even more determined to make this blog better!

Spending quality time with the boyfriend

On the second week of July, I had the stomach flu which lasted to a good 5 to 6 (almost 7) days. I was suffering from major stomach aches and continues bowel movement that I was too weak to even stand up. I had chills and every time I eat something, I always end up in the toilet pouring my guts out. It was the worst thing I experienced. I was thankful that Jethro went home that week and he took care of me. I wouldn't know what to do without him. After I got better, we went on a date in Cagayan de Oro. The time I spent with him will always be cherished and I don't know if he knows that, but I really do, haha. Thank you, babe, for being there for me.

Our shop ElyseenPH continues to grow

If you didn't know yet, I have an online shop, ElyseenPH, on Instagram. I co-own this with a friend and we mainly sell Korean beauty products. I am always thankful for new and return customers who buy from us. Many, many thanks for the trust and patronization!

New season of Game of Thrones begins

I am a fan of the Game of Thrones series since the beginning and I've waited for another year for this new season to come out! Its first episode was aired last July 17 and Arya was awesome! If you are a fan and have watched it, you would know why. 😉 Tomorrow, the third episode will be released and
I am so pumped up to see what happens next. Ang chaka lang because this season will only have 7 episodes, how could they possibly fit all of what's to happen in 7 episodes lang? I guess that's what we have to find out. I'm excited for tomorrow!

Got a chance to be a part of the #EatIligan 2.0 event with the Iligan Bloggers Society

This was my first blogger event ever and I was so ecstatic to get to be a part of it! It was a 2-day fun, carb-filled gastronomic adventure that features several homegrown food establishments here in Iligan City. I had so many first times during this event. I didn't know Iligan has so many to offer! Not only can you chase waterfalls, you can also have a series of food trips! I'll be featuring them in a series of blog post here so watch out for that. 😊

New blog look, finally!

While I loved my previous blog template, I couldn't deny that it was making me unmotivated and uninspired to write new content. I was looking for something new, for something fresh to look at. I didn't realize I needed a blog makeover until I did one last night. Thanks to Ate Ayeesha for giving me this template and giving me helpful critiques to make it look this good. I personally love it but I would like to hear your thoughts about it. Care to indulge me with your opinions? Let me know in the comments section below!

I think that's it! We are at the end of July and the 8th month of the year is here. Where'd the time go? I really should be making most of my months. How about you? How did your July go? What are the things that made you happy? I hope you enjoyed this month as much as I did. Let's talk in the comments section below 😃
