February has been a roller coaster. Aside from family issues I won't discuss here, I've been having a series of battles within my inner self. I don't have the words to voice out all of these anxieties and in the past few weeks, my journal has become my only confidante. Albeit there are difficulties, I still do try my best to retain a thread of positive outlook. And so, to distract my negative thoughts, I make myself look at the great things that the internet has to offer.
My laptop screen has become my window to the outside world and it has become something I both hate and love at the same time. There are days when I am enthusiastic about facing a new day, but sadly, the days when I dread waking up in the morning have become more and more overwhelming. This intro has become nonsensical so I'll stop here.
Anyway, for the sake of updating this neglected space again, I decided to share with you some links to click that have given me comfort. Sometimes, the only thing that makes me trudge forward is by looking at how others' go through their lives. And these are some of the links I've been clicking through the past few days.
The Order of Operations by Seth
Between Fiction and Perceptions Of Our Reality (and the gray area that surrounds it) by Élise
Palette by Dems
You Will Have The Time For All These Things by Joanne
AtHome: Packing + Minor Renovations by Kristine.
Longing by Ra
Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast by Gege and Tonet
And lastly, before I end this post, I'm sharing with you this playlist I made. These songs have been my comfort and every time I listen to them, they gave me a little semblance of peace that my soul needed.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Stay healthy. xx
