How To Really Know Someone | 17

Happy Wednesday! It's been sooooooo long since I posted an entry for this series and when I checked how many more questions were left to answer, I'm left with less than 30 now. So this series is coming to an end—finally after 6 years! 😂 Let's get to it!

How To Really Know Someone | 17 | Renee Alexis

111. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?

I would die for BTS. I would put my life on the line if it means I could meet them and talk to them and just hang out with them. That's how much I love them. *fangirls*

112. Have you ever done any charitable acts?

Does volunteering to pack up relief goods for typhoon victims considered? If so, then that's one. I also went to feed and give gifts to our local prison on my 17th birthday. That was really memorable for me.

113. When you were young, what was the thing that you wanted to be when you grew up? Why?

I actually have a podcast episode about this topic. You can give it listen here: The Single Millenial Episode 20 ðŸ˜Š

114. What should you never say, even in anger and frustration?

Something that you would regret later on. This can vary in any situation you are in. As for me, I've learned my lessons the hard way when I do let myself talk without thinking about my words. I've long since taught myself to hold my tongue when I am angry or frustrated. I choose to shut up and cool my head off before gathering my thoughts about what happened. From there, I'd be able to discern what I need to say out loud.

115. What would constitute a perfect day for you?

A perfect day for me would be a day at the beach, with the sun just peeking behind the clouds and a chill BTS song playing in the background. I'm lounging by the shore in a hammock sipping a cold drink, maybe iced coffee, and reading a book.

116. What do you like to do in your spare time/on weekends?

I like playing mobile games, reading books, hanging out with friends, watching tv shows, and eating. Yes, eating. Hehe

117. How do you feel about having kids one day?

Uhm... I haven't really imagined myself having kids but maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have one if and when I'm ready and with the right person in the future. For now, I feel like I wouldn't be a good parent to any future kid. lol

118. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?

If you mean to kill a thought or a feeling, then I'd gladly do it. But to murder a person, I don't think I have it in me to be that violent.

119. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?

I don't think so. I've learned that not everything is in black and white and every story has two sides. There are reasons why things are the way they are and why a person is who they are. Nothing is inherently good or bad. Everything has a back story. Do you get what I mean?

120. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?

I would like to be raised in a more emotionally open environment, where it's not cringe-y to say "I love you" and showing love through physical touch is not taboo. Physical touch as in hugs and kisses to parents and siblings. I find it really refreshing to see my family's friends be very open with their parents, you know? And I'm just there on the sideline thinking about what-ifs. I guess I'm just longing to have what I don't.
